And, in 1991, we decided to breed her. She had 8 adorable puppies. However, that being said, she was by far one of the worst mothers! Once I came home for spring break, she wanted nothing to do with her pups. I had to lock her in the basement with them. That was her one and only experience with motherhood. I think she was happy to again be the only dog in the house. That changed when Cinnamon was about 6 years old. At that time, I rescued Sadie from a fate with the humane society and brought her home. Truth be told, Cinnamon and Sadie never got along what one might call - famously - but you can certainly tell that Sadie is a bit sadder now that she spends the day alone. Cinnamon was a great little companion. She loved to ride in the car. In fact, she usually slept during the ride to and from Mom's house. Her favorite sleeping spot was under the Christmas tree each year. She was good at finding new places to sleep around the house. One morning I actually found her in my duffle bag. And, she was the best little toe warmer a girl could ever ask for. She loved to snuggle under the covers down by your feet. She is definitely missed...very much! Below is an assortment of pictures of her. Trust me, there's hundreds more than this! She was so photogenic. Point to each
